POSIC+ is an acronym for perception of object sentience, individuality, and consciousness. A lot of POSIC+ folks have what are called companions, the object we perceive as sentient and have a bond with.

-Panion is a commonly used suffix for genders created for sentient objects. It's derived from the word "companion." These gender terms are not to be used by anyone who is not an object, as they are only understandable and intrinsically intertwined with being an objectHow do I know my companion's gender?
That can be tricky! But I'd recommend just asking them. Even if they can't communicate with words, they might be able to send vibes or empathetically let you in on the feeling their gender hasCan I use (panion gender) as a label for my gender?
The short answer is no. This gender system is solely for POSIC companions and is made to help us non companions understand their gender identities in easier to understand language. If a panion gender resonates with you, there is likely a non companion version, as most of these are coined based on already existing genders.
